Physicians are required to maintain medical records including X-Rays for 7 years. Therefore, X-Rays are a part of your permanent medical record. If you would like to receive a copy of X-Rays, you can purchase them for $10.00 per film (sheet). Please allow a minimum of 5 business days for processing your request.
All medical records requested must be authorized by our patient and made in writing by a formal written release. A copy of the Authorization to Release Records is available to you in each office. All record requests will be processed within 30 days of the written request. A processing fee of $25.00 for the first 20 pages and $0.15 per page thereafter plus postage (as mandated by Texas State Board of Podiatric Medical Examiners) will apply unless it is requested by a licensed physician by any state for the purpose of emergency or acute care.
If you were indicated for a test (MRI, CT, Nerve Conduction Study, etc.), our office staff will make the appointment for you and contact you immediately. Upon scheduling your ordered test, you will be scheduled for a return appointment. Our physicians will discuss test results with you during your return appointment.
